Honor V6 tablet announced with 10.4 inch display!

Huawei has launched a new tablet under the “Honor” branding for the first time. The brand has unveiled the Honor V6 with 5G connectivity. It is the world’s third tablet to offer 5G connectivity after Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G and Huawei MatePad Pro 5G. Even though it gets 5G connectivity, it will be a trimmed down version of the former. However, the brand has not announced the pricing and availability details of the tablet. The brand will reveal it in June for the Asian markets. The pre-order is already up for the device.

Honor V6 Specifications!

The new Honor V6 sports a massive 10.4 inches display with 2K resolution (2000 x 1200 pixels). It has extremely thin bezels to the sides and has a screen to body ratio of 84%. The table features the HiSilicon Kirin 985 SoC which has 5G connectivity. It is the world’s first tablet to support Wi-Fi 6+ tech and gets support for 160MHz bandwidth and dynamic narrow-bandwidth technology. The Kirin 985 pairs with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and 64 or 128GB of storage. Further, it is expandable via the micro SD card up to 512GB.

The Honor V6 gets a single 13MP rear camera with an LED flash. Upfront, the device gets an 8MP sensor. The tablet packs a massive 7250mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging. Interestingly, the device charges over the USB type C port. It gets the updated Huawei self-developed Histen 6.1 3D sound effect and four large-amplitude speakers. The V6 tablet runs on EMUI 10.0 on top of the Android 10.

The device comes with a stylus pen with the pressure sensitivity of 4096. It will also become a Magic Pencil and can be used for beautiful art drawing. The brand has shared an image drawn by an artist using the same. Its rear design is similar to nature’s Tindal effect. It will be available in colour options like Wizard of OZ, Titanium Sky Silver, and Magic Night Black. Further, the tablet also gets a keyboard with Bluetooth connectivity.
