Honor MagicBook 15 starting at 39,990 INR in India

Huawei launched its new Honor MagicBook 15 laptop on 31st July 2020, the MagicBook 15 has lots of new upgrades compared to its predecessor. It’s the first time that Huawei is launching a laptop to compete with established players like Asus, HP, Dell and the new entrant in the laptop market, Mi.

Display

Honor MagicBook 15 has a 15.6-inch IPS screen display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and comes with TUV Rheinland certification . The display is big enough for a great gaming experience, it has a refresh rate of 60Hz which makes it very smooth and fast. It does not support touchscreen, whereas Xiaomi Mi Notebook 14 has a 14.00-inch display that has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. We have nothing to praise or complain about display, it is a pretty standard display.

Performance

Honor MagicBook 15 is a Windows 10 laptop which is the best operating system for gaming and daily use. Mi Notebook also has windows 10 as its operating system, it comes with a Ryzen 5 3500U processor, which is an excellent mainstream CPU, offering proficient performance and decent gaming experience with Radeon Vega 8 graphics. Xiaomi Mi Notebook 14 is powered by a Core i5 processor but is a little slower and has lower graphics than AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processor.

Memory & Storage

It comes with 8GB of RAM which is good for a laptop and is enough to do all the tasks and play games smoothly without any problem. The Honor MagicBook 15 packs 256GB of SSD storage which transfers data at a very high speed. And Mi notebook 14 also has 8GB of ram and 256GB of SSD storage.

Battery

It has a massive battery of 42 (WHR) which will be easy enough for 8 hours of usage, it comes with a 65W Fast Charger which will charge the laptop in around 1 hour. Mi notebook 14 has a 46 (WHR) battery which is a little bigger than MagicBook 15.

Camera

To attain such display Honor has sacrificed the webcam and so comes equipped with a pop-up webcam which hidden underneath the camera button on the keyboard, it is a good camera for video conferences and face cam for gaming. It has USB 2.0, USB 3.0, HDMI port, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The MagicBook 15 is a great laptop for both gaming and daily use, it has a fingerprint power button to increase the privacy and security of the laptop. The Honor MagicBook 15 is priced at Rs. 42,990 in India and is worth your money.
