Description

Most of the flagship devices are getting Android 11 updates these days. There are some shreds of evidence to show that Samsung is also working on the same for its Samsung Galaxy S10+. From the past six months, Samsung has improved its speed of pushing updates. Last year Samsung has pushed the Android 10 update for the same device on December 10.

The device has been listed in Geekbench with the model number SM-G975F. It is running on Android R. However, the official name of the upcoming Android version will be Android 11. Since the device is running on the beta version it is showing as Android R. It is unclear that whether the device will receive the stable update before the Samsung Galaxy S20 series!

The flagship series from Samsung will receive two major Android updates. Since the device was launched with Android 9 Pie, the Android 11 update will be the last major update for the Galaxy S10+. Samsung will also include the newer version of OneUi i.e. OneUi 3.0 with the update. The update will bring several improvements to the device in terms of camera, performance, and battery.

Further, the listing suggests that Samsung will be providing stable Android 11 updates to its phones before 2020 ends. It may be delayed due to the ongoing pandemic. Further, it also depends when Google releases the Android 11 publicly.
