Samsung has almost finished rolling out Android 10 updates for its smartphones. Now, the brand is in the works of pushing One UI 2.1 updates to older smartphones. Earlier, the brand has pushed One UI 2.1 for its premium phones, and One UI 2.0 for its mid-range smartphones. Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy A50 will receive One UI 2.1 in Q3 of 2020. Now, the brand has pushed the One UI 2.1 update for Samsung Galaxy A71 in countries like India, Poland, and UAE.
The new update comes with the version number A715FXXU2ATG1, and with June security patch. The update weighs over 1.7GB and brings major changes. So please consider using WiFi for downloading, as you may exhaust your mobile data. The new update brings all the One UI 2.1 features for the Samsung Galaxy A71 which includes in the Camera app, Music & quick sharing feature, and improved security patch.
Aa you can see, the Camera app has undergone many changes including full-fledged Pro Mode, Single Take, My Filters, and Night Hyperlapse. The update is rolling out as OTA & will take some time to reach your smartphone.
That said if you haven’t received the notification of update you can check for it manually. For doing it manually, head over into Settings then Software update and tap the Download and install option. Further, you can download & install the full firmware from Samsung’s firmware section.
