Back in March 2020, Samsung rolled out OneUI 2.0 on top of Android 10 for the Samsung Galaxy A50. The update was rolling out in many countries including India, Sri Lanka, UAE, Argentina, Jordan, US, and in many other regions. Interestingly, Samsung is working on a new update for the device in the US. It was shared by a Reddit user regarding the new update.
Initially, the device was running on Android 9 Pie out of the box. The thread says that the Samsung Galaxy A50 will receive its OneUI 2.1 soon in the US. OneUI 2.1 has more features than the OneUI 2.0. The latest Samsung flagships were pre-loaded with this version of OneUI. This version has some advantages like Live Caption, camera zoom option, single take. AR Emoji, improved UI, Quick Share, Music Share, AR Zone, and much more.
Although, first the Support team said that there is no ETA for the update. But later, he specified a time limit, which is Q3 of 2020. This means that the OneUI 2.1 update will be rolling out somewhere between July & September. So yeah, as we said in our earlier articles, Samsung has definitely improved their speed of update from the last six months. Please do note that the support team never has ETA of updates. The developer team will only have the ETA relating to updates. We will update you guys, once the update starts rolling out. Further, we don’t when the update will be live for other parts of the world.
