Black Shark 3S unveiled in China with 120Hz refresh rate

A Chinses smartphone company launching a third gaming smartphone of 2020 in China, called Black Shark 3S. The company partnered with Tencent Games for the phones. The phone will available in Skyfall Black and Crystal Blue color models. It’s a gaming smartphone that comes with a high amount of RAm and other features.

Black Shark 3S specifications and features

Black Shark 3S comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display panel with 1080 x 2400 pixels of resolutions and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It offers a 120Hz refresh rate and a 270Hz touch sampling rate. The phone also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and refresh rate optimization for games. It supports HDR10+ and up to 500 nits brightness.

Xiaomi’s Black Shark 3Spowered by Octa-Core Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865 (7 nm+) processor under the hood. CUP of the phone clocks in three parts, first high-end core clocks at 2.84 GHz Kryo 585 and 3 cores clocked at 2.42 GHz Kryo 585 and 4 cores clocked at 1.80 GHz Kryo 585. There is Adreno 650 GPU for graphics.

Black’s Shark 3S has LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage tech. There is 12 GB of RAM with 128 GB internal storage and 256 Gb storage variants. However, there is no micro SD card slot for more storage. It runs on the Android 10 operating system out of the box along with the customized MIUI 12.

It featured symmetric triangular triple camera sensors on the backside along with LED flash. There are 64-megapixel main camera, 13-megapixel ultrawide camera, and 5-megapixel depth camera. On the front side, there is a 20-megapixel face camera. There is a 4720 mAh battery inside that power the phone. It also supports 65W fast charging and 18W magnetic charging.

The phone featured with a sandwich liquid cooling system. Users can also mirror the screen of the phone via USB 3.0. There are other features like MEMC 3.0, 3D sound, and voice-controlled gameplay. The body dimensions of the phone are 168.72 x 77.33 x 10.42 mm and weighs 222 grams.

Black Shark 3S price and Availability

The Black Shark 3S 128 GB storage model is available at 3,999 yuan ($573) price tag while the 256 GB storage model available at 4,299 yuan ($616).

At the launching event, the company also unveiled the new Black Shark Accessories. Black shark Shoulder Buttons available at 79 yuan ($11). The Black Shark Gamepad which is compatible with many Android smartphones available at 238 yuan ($34) and Black Shark finger sleeve available at 238 yuan ($34) price tag.
