Google is looking forward to launching its Android Mobile operating system new version, called Android 11. The company will launch the Android 11 on September 8th. But there are several manufactures, that still pushing Android 10 updates for their devices. Samsung one of the companies, that releasing an update for its smartphones and tablets.

Android 10 update for Galaxy J8

In the last few weeks, the company upgraded a bunch of Galaxy smartphones and Galaxy tablets to Android 10 along with OneUI 2. Now, the Galaxy J8 and Galaxy Tab A 10.5 starts receiving Android 10 update based on the company’s own OneUI 2.

Android 10 update for Galaxy J8

Previously, Samsung rolls out only a single OS update for the budget smartphones. Now, the company decided to roll out the Android 10 update for the Galaxy J8 (2018) is quite fascinating. The Galaxy J8 was launched in 2018 with Android Oreo OS and received its first Android Pie OS based on the OneUI update in 2019.

Currently, the company rolling out Android 10 for Galaxy J8 in Russia only. The update comes with J810FPUU4CTG3 version number for the Samsung Galaxy J8 SM-J810F model number. We expect that Samsung will release the same update for the Galaxy J8 other models in the upcoming weeks.

Android 10 update for Galaxy Tab A 10.5

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also launched in 2018 with the Android Oreo operating system. The Tab A 10.5 was upgraded to Android 9 Pie OS based in OneUI in 2019. Now it’s receiving Android 10 update which is based on OneUI 2 running on top.

The company rolling out the Android 10 update for both Galaxy Tab A 10.5 Wi-Fi (SM-T590) and LTE (SM-T595) variants. The update for Wifi and LTE models comes with T590XXU3CTF9 and T595XXU4CTF9, respectively. The update also brings July 2020 Android security patches.
