Android 10 for Huawei P20 based on EMUI starts rolling out in Canada

Starting this month, 2017 launched smartphones from Huawei P20 Pro and Huawei Mate 10 received an Android 10 update. Now, the company rolling out the Android 10 OS update for the Huawei P20 in Canada. A customer from local carrier Fido reported a received of Android 10 firmware update on Huawei P20. 

Android 10 for Huawei P20 comes with a 10.0.0.161 build number and the size of the update is 4.6 GB. The update from the phone comes with new Android 10 features like system-wide dark mode, one-time location permissions, and under-the-hood improvements. It also brings GPU Turbo features, UI Tweaks and new security features. 

The update for the P20 EML-L09 variant also brings EMUI 10.0 UI. It develops to improve the quality of your user experience. It offers a fine-tuned user interface, intuitive user experience and enhanced data and privacy protection.

However, Huawei P20 is out of the list from the company EMUI 10.1 upgrade plan. This means the phone will not receive any more firmware or OS feature updates.
